DEFINING COOL
Harry Knowles (Film Critic / Ain’t It Cool News):

A NEW LANGUAGE
Peter Markham (AFI Conservatory):
Tali innovazioni spesso concernono argomenti contemporanei.”
Mark Evan Schwartz (School of film and tv / Author pf “How to write: A screenplay):

MAKING IT HURT
Sharon Waxman

FILLING THE VOID
Harry Knowles
“Copre un buco nel cinema americano. E’ un pugno di infrange molti paradigmi”
Peter Markham

- PROFILING THE RESERVOIR DOGS -

I profili psicologici e familiari di quattro personaggi
realizzati dal criminologo Pat Brown.

Mr. Brown
Mr. Pink
Mr. White
Mr. Blonde

- Profilo criminale completo di Mr. Blonde -

This is a seriously twisted fuck.
He is the ultimate level of psychopath out there: zero feelings, zero remorse,
and zero responsibility for his actions. He shows very little emotions, behaving as though he is not really connected to the events he's involved in.
Actually, he doesn't think of himself as part of any interactive community.
He lives in his own private world and he makes all his own rules.
Then he goes out and plays his game totally without regard to any one else's needs or plans. Everyone to him either "useful, or in the way".

Mr. Blonde would appear to have had more advantages growing up than the others in the group. His family would look like any middle class family with a mom and a dad and plenty to eat. His brother and sister turned out just fine, but his personality didn't do so well in his surroundings. His father would have been
a strict disciplinarian and hard to please. Try as he might, the young Mr. Blonde
could not live up to his father's standards. His mother, on the other hand, was a soft touch; She spoiled him and protected him from his father and thought he could do no wrong. He was undoubtedly a beautiful baby and a smart little boy, but quickly developed into a narcissist who believed the world should revolve around him. Early on he became a compulsive liar and a violent little monster, a child no one but his mother could stand. By the time he was in grade school, some of the neighborhood moms would have found excuses not to have their children play with him. Psychologists note that quite a few sexually sadistic psychopaths have a triad of behaviors in their early lives: bedwetting, fire setting, and the killing of animails. While there may be no documented evidence of these behaviors that would prove this dangerous combo existed in his youth, it would be interesting to know if there were suspicious fires in the neighborhood during the years Mr. Blonde lived there and if headless dogs or strangled cats were found dumped on people's doorsteps.

Mr. Blonde might have lived in a nice neighborhood, joined the boy scouts, graduated from high school and even gone to a year of college, but he is just a shell of a human with absolutely no depth to him. In order to manipulate others and get over on them, he would have eventually learned how to act like other people, at least creating a good enough imitation of a normal person not to immediately set off warnings bells in those he wished to manipulate or abuse.

The handsome Mr. Blonde probably got very few dates during high school as he was still learning how to appear human in those years and anyone who spent more than a few hours with him would see something was not quite right with this man. Unfortunately for society, after he had moved out into the world, he would have gotten better and better at covering his creepy interior and he would be able to use his pseudo charm to his advantage, conning people and luring victims into his lair. There are likely to be women or men out there who could tell stories about this guy, stories of being raped or tortured by him, if they were only willing to come forward.Worse yet, there could be children who fell prey to him as well.

It is worth checking to see if Mr. Blonde has sex offenses on his record or maybe burglary charges which would probably be rapes pled down to a lesser offense due to lack of substantial evidence to take to trial.
Mr. Blonde is a sadistic psychopath and likely a sexual psychopath as well.
Rape and deviant sex acts are anjoyable ways for violent sadistic psychopaths to
torture someone. Even if he doesn't have a record, which quite a few of his sort do not, he may be a serial rapist or serial killer who hasn't yet been identified.
If there is history of rapes and sexual murders in an area where Mr. Blonde has
lived or worked, he might be the one committing them.

One bit of evidence that points to Mr. Blonde having tortured and murdered someone in his past is the high level of skill and confidence he elicits when he is playing his nasty little game with the police officer. First timers tend to be uncoordinated, get confused, and lack confidence, they may still accomplish their mission but they will look like beginners doing it.Nothing about Mr. Blonde's torture performance looks amateurish. He had a brilliant mind fuck going with the cop, teasing him and ratcheting up the fear brilliantly. He used music and dance to set up a contradictory scenario which is eerie and frightening; he purposely teased his victim, acting terribly cheery and carefree while brandishing a knife and pouring gas all over him. This is talent. His act may be demented as hell, but it's still talented. Mr. Blonde has done this before, not just one time or two times, but enough times to put him into the serial killer category.

Mr. Blonde has a totally flat affect; almost nothing upsets him. After committing murders he goes and buys fast food and then stands around calmly sipping his drink while Mr. White and Mr. Pink worry themselves to death about the disastrous situation they are in. Mr. Blonde also stands around smocking a cigarette while they kick and punch the cop. He shows no interest in joining them: they are angry, he is not. He is just toying with all of them. There is actually only a moment in time we see him show emotion, a speck of anger, when the cop makes a comment about Mr. Blonde having a boss. As Mr. Blonde is, in his own eyes, God, and God does not take orders from anyone, this is the ultimate insult, of course, Mr. Blonde gets over his anger very quickly which shows that his concern for any one else's opinion is extremely small.

Mr. Blonde is no one's friend, not even Joe and Eddie's.
Both of them made a huge error when they believed he spent four years in prison
out of loyalty. Being the highest level of psychopath in the group and having
zero remorse or empathy, the motive for Mr. Blonde not ratting them out was to gain something for himself, not to help them. It is possible to know what his real
motive would have been but surely he had a good reason for keeping quiet and
it wasn't to save these two men's butts.
When he got out of prison, he plays on Joe's strong loyalties to members of his extended family. He manipulates Joe and Eddie into helping him and bringing him in on a job. This was a huge error for all involved. When they are in process of robbing the store, Mr. Blonde starts shooting the customers, Mr. Pink and Mr. White think he's lost control, but he was actually quite in control and doing exactly what he wanted to do. He claims it was the victims' fault because they tripped the alarm, but he is only justifying his hobby; watching people suffer and die. Later, when he is left to "take care of" the cop, he shows his true colors with his extreme sadism, really enjoying the longer special time he was able to share with his chair-bound friend.

Mr. Blonde is such a poster boy for psychopathic personalities that even a brutal thug like Mr. White gives pause to ask, "Why the fuck would Joe hire a guy like that?
